NOVEMBER 2010 ISSUE – VOL. 10 #10
The Rev. Jim and Diana Wilson, Coordinators
Dear People of the Northstate Vision:
The Lord released a harvest word just in time for this harvest
season. He says, “I have produced a great harvest for you
and you have gathered it into barns – and there it remains.
I will tear down the barns and release the harvest.” We live
in a new and specially vigorous apostolic age. The Lord’s
prayer of Luke 10:2 that we pray for workers in the harvest field
is being answered. He has called for fulfillment of the Great Commission
in our lifetime in more ways than we can count. Men and women with
an apostolic anointing – the word means simply “sent”
– understand themselves as sent to the islands of the world
and to the islands of our own culture – from the Pacific and
African rims to the shopping malls of our own cities. Christians
who have come out of the gangs are returning to rescue their friends
in dramatic fashion; healed homosexuals are doing likewise; recovering
addicts are seeking their peers while middle-class moms and dads
and teens are introducing larger life to their peers as well. But
what about the rest of us?
How many are inviting people not into the Kingdom but into our
own really cool church? (Don’t get me wrong; the local church
is the bone structure of the Kingdom on earth, the gathering of
the cells of the Body, and the context in which the Body moves in
the Spirit.) We are called to invite folks into the Kingdom, and
then bring them to our churches for discipling and deployment. The
Churches are God’s gift to His people, but if we worship and
serve our church instead of God we substitute the gift for the Giver
and make it necessary for God to tear down existing barns and begin
a new work of release from bondage. Are we leaving the burning bush
– warmed and prepped – and headed for Egypt, or waiting
for Egypt to come to us – and on our terms? The Harvest Lord
is on His way; let us all join Him now.

WHAT’S UP IN THE NORTHSTATE AND BEYOND
• The Rains have already come in abundance to NorCal; we
are at nearly double the precipitation for a normal season as of
the beginning of November. Of course, this early in the season the
numbers mean little – we have not had the cold weather needed
to build a meaningful snowpack and thus a watershed, and God must
sustain the season if we are to be blessed with water. Please give
daily thanks for what we have been given, daily prayer for what
we still need, and daily prayer that the Central Valley will get
continuing relief from the man-made drought recently broken and
recovery of its agriculture and related industries.
• Election Eve Prayer Walking is scheduled for Monday, November
1, from 6-8 PM, on the Capitol Mall in Sacramento. (The first 100
prayer walkers will receive a free meal from Chic Fil A, a Christian
owned and operated national chain.) This is not a public demonstration
or rally; it is a time for quiet prayer of blessing over our state
and nation. Please respect the protocols.
• Prayer Meetings for prayer over the election are also scheduled
for November 1 – 7 PM to 7 AM – at Church on the Way,
14800 Sherman Way in Van Nuys, CA, and at Houses of Light on November
2 – 7 AM to 7 PM, 19408 Londelius Street in Northridge, CA.
These meetings are sponsored by multiple churches and ministries.
Pray – and don’t forget to vote!
• Genesis Generation Radio is on the air each Sunday Evening
from 6-8 PM on Radio KCNR Redding, AM 1460, and KBLF Red Bluff,
AM 1490, as well as live-streamed on KCNR1460.com. (The broadcast
can be accessed anywhere in the world through the .com site; just
click on the live broadcast button.) The program features rotating
co-hosts crossing the generational lines to engage each other, and
live calls from listeners. This is an opportunity to help bridge
generation gaps and be ambassadors of reconciliation. We hope you
will listen to this PrayNorthState initiative – on the air
or on the internet.
• Genesis Generation Radio is the most wide ranging media
project in the history of PrayNorthState. It is an opportunity to
advance the Gospel and make reconciliation between the generations
over secular airwaves as we participate in God’s plan to reclaim
those airwaves for His Kingdom. It is also the most complex and
expensive project we have ever undertaken. We began this broadcast
with enough sponsor support to begin; we do not have the resources
we need to sustain it indefinitely. We are seeking business, philanthropic,
and church support. If you – or someone you know – might
be a potential sponsor of Genesis Generation Radio, please call
us at 530-941-3470 or write praynorthstate@charter.net and we will
respond with details.
• Regional Pastors’ Prayer Meeting for Governmental
Leaders and Issues holds monthly meetings in the state capitol on
the first Friday of each month from Noon to 1 PM. Call 916-319-2003
for information. The gatherings join a small host of ministries
meeting regularly to pray for the state, including PrayNorthState.
Regional Pastors Prayer is hosted by Assemblyman Dan Logue and facilitated
by Pastor David Lucas of Gloryland Revival Center.
• The nationally recognized Healthy Marriage Project changes
its name to Relationship Skills Center at their annual fundraiser
at the Elks Temple Ball Room, 921 11th Street in Sacramento on Thursday,
November 4. Speaker Carolyn Curtis addresses “Faith-Based
and Community Strategies to Promote Healthy Families.” There
is no fee for attending. Call 916-362-1900 or go to www.sacmarriage.com
to register.
• The 4th Annual Craft and Fair Trade Bazaar is held at Simpson
University in the Heritage Student Life Center on Saturday, November
6, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Fair Trade simply guarantees compensation
to artisans working in third world nations; local missionaries are
featured alongside local artisans, and proceeds benefit Simpson
scholarships and mission work. PrayNorthState will be participating;
Diana’s jewelry and Jim’s books will be available to
support our ministry and facilitate your Christmas shopping.
• A similar event occurs at Redding Christian Fellowship
on Victor Avenue in Redding, November 12-14. Call the church office
at 530-222-3425 for details. PrayNorthState will participate in
this one as well.

in Sacramento on Friday, November 12 (10-10) through Saturday, November
13 (9-5). Lunch is provided and the cost is $89.00 per person. Redding’s
Beth Wright has a supply of reserved tickets for women from that
area – call her at 530-510-6587 if you wish to join her group.
• Friday and Saturday, November 12-13, the School of the
Cross comes to Chico’s Life Center with Jason Smith and Pastors
Dave and Mamie Bronson. Life Center meets at Bidwell Square, 664
E. First Avenue, Ste 30. E-mail chicoschool@eventbrite.com for info
or to register.
• Also on November 12-13 Campus Awakening comes to San Francisco
with Redding’s Banning Liebscher alongside Matt Gonzalez and
Jake Hamilton. The ministry is about peer evangelizing – for
keeps – on genesis generation people’s own campuses.
Registration is free for the event at Promised Land Fellowship at
1663 Market Street. Call 415-558-9900 for information or to register
or e-mail admin@kingdomcultureministries.info.
• Sunday, November 14, is the worldwide Day of Prayer for
the Persecuted Church. Go to www.persecutedchurch.org for information.
Please pray.
UPCOMING PrayNorthState EVENTS
• A Gospel of Power is a new PrayNorthState weekend seminar.
The weekend introduces participants to the Elijah Season in which
we live in terms of the great outpouring of healing – all
kinds – that characterizes it. Addresses include For Such
a Time as This on Friday Night, with Saturday offering The Principles
of Healing; Breaking the Power Paradigm; The Miracle of Inner Healing;
and A Culture of Covenant. The teachings are based on Jim’s
book, The Holy Spirit and the EndTimes. Hands-on practical experience
is always included when Jim demonstrates transformative revival.
We were born for such a time as this; Jim shows participants how
to navigate the season with what the Lord has shown us at PrayNorthState.
Call us at 530-941-3470 for info.
• Everything we know about revival and transformation are
in the pages of The Holy Spirit and the End Times. All we have to
offer on reconciliation – the pre-requisite for transformation
– is found in Living as Ambassadors of Relationships. The
books sell for $16.00, but we offer the set for $25.00. Prices include
taxes; a $5.00 shipping charge is added to shipped orders.
• Anyone desiring to participate or to gain a fuller picture
of any current or upcoming events should go to the PrayNorthstate
web site at www.praynorthstate.org or call us at 530-941-3470.

in Darien, Ct, on Tuesday, November 16, and at a TBA location on
Sunday, November 22. He addresses the Youth Night at Anderson Church
of God Sunday Evening, November 28.
• Jim and Diana travel to New England for the fourth PrayNorthState
ministry trip into the region. Jim will attend the annual synod
of the Anglican Diocese of New England as a guest of Bishop Bill
Murdoch, and they will network with various leaders as they plan
to follow-up on ministries (such as the Bible Reading Marathon and
Prayer Vanguard) they introduced to parts of the region and participate
in the transformative revival God has promised and begun to unfold
in the region.
• Jim and Diana participate in the Crafts and Fair Trade
Day at Simpson University on Saturday, November 7, from 9-3. Diana’s
jewelry and Jim’s books and CD sets will be available; proceeds
