DECEMBER 2010 ISSUE – VOL. 10 #11
The Rev. Jim and Diana Wilson, Coordinators
Dear People of the Northstate Vision:
Diana and I returned from New England just in time for Thanksgiving
– and thanks is just what we give to God. As is so often the
case in the Kingdom, much of what we had planned was changed or
did not occur at all. Yet God connected us with people who could
direct us to sites associated with the Great Awakening – our
principal purpose in coming – and He supernaturally vectored
us to other locations. We prayed and ministered at six such sites
– always with local permission granted before we began –
and made personal connections with people who will ultimately benefit
projects we have underway in California just as we will be enabled
to benefit their projects. The connection that stands out most for
us would be a purposed liberal arts college to further the legacy
of C. S. Lewis in the pursuit of revival. God is clearly moving
forward with the bridge building He has promised between our two
regions. But what has this to do with the coming of Christmas?
Isaiah promised a Christ-child on Whom the government of all things
would rest. Paul speaks of a Lord in Whom all things hold together
– from the beginning to the end. And Jesus Himself says that
He came to bring abundant life in a Kingdom context in which the
dead are raised, the lepers healed, and the blind and deaf restored.
He does not say that none will die – you cannot resurrect
what has not died – but He calls Himself God of the perpetually
alive nonetheless. And He adds – repeatedly – that His
reign will not look like our expectations. It is a bit like the
most harrowing moment of our trip when the maps proved wrong and
we were shot off into Brooklyn as we aimed for LaGuardia Airport.
With neither map nor compass we had to depend on God and a dozen
successive people to whom He directed us. And in Him all things
did and do indeed hold together.

and More (Hilltop near Cattlemen’s Restaurant and Trinity
Lutheran Church). We hope to see a lot of you Christmas shopping
for some great books on what God is up to in this special season
and supporting PrayNorthState at the same time. See the next page
to read of the international recognition recently awarded these
books.

if our programming is to continue. Business persons or anyone wishing

WHAT’S UP IN THE NORTHSTATE AND BEYOND
• Living as Ambassadors of Relationships was featured on
four successive October weeks of The Bridge, a popular talk show
on Canada’s Miracle Channel. This is major league (and unsolicited)
recognition for Jim’s first book as an important contribution
to God’s work – through His people – of reconciling
all people to Himself through the Son. At the same time we just
found out that the International Healing Rooms had selected The
Holy Spirit and the EndTimes as their number one recommended reading
book for November. Just as important (and just as unsolicited) is
this recognition by the international healing rooms ministry that
the book is a core primer for ordinary Christians who want to welcome
transformative revival to their communities. Flip back one page
to get the times and locations of Jim’s book signings on December
11.
• The Rains have already begun to come in abundance to NorCal
and they are accompanied by plenty of snow to this point; at the
same time it is crucial that we be praying daily for continued plenty
in this arena. God tends to respond to prayer more than to confidence
– for Him prayer is an end in itself.
• Genesis Generation Radio is on the air each Sunday Evening
from 6-8 PM on Radio KCNR Redding, AM 1460, and KBLF Red Bluff,
AM 1490, as well as live-streamed on KCNR1460.com. (The broadcast
can be accessed anywhere in the world through the .com site; just
click on the live broadcast button.) The program features rotating
co-hosts crossing the generational lines to engage each other, and
live calls from listeners. This is an opportunity to help bridge
generation gaps and be ambassadors of reconciliation. We hope you
will listen to this PrayNorthState initiative – on the air
or on the internet.
• Genesis Generation Radio is the most wide ranging media
project in the history of PrayNorthState. It is an opportunity to
advance the Gospel and make reconciliation between the generations
over secular airwaves as we participate in God’s plan to reclaim
those airwaves for His Kingdom. It is also the most complex and
expensive project we have ever undertaken. We began this broadcast
with enough sponsor support to begin; we do not have the resources
we need to sustain it indefinitely. We are seeking business, philanthropic,
and church support. If you – or someone you know – might
be a potential sponsor of Genesis Generation Radio, please call
us at 530-941-3470 or write praynorthstate@charter.net and we will
respond with details.
• A Prophetic Explosion is offered in successive sessions
at Word-A-Live Church in Grass Valley at 7:30 PM on Thursday, December
9; at 10 AM, 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM on Friday, December 10; and at
9:30 AM Saturday, December 11. Conference hosts include Pastors
Mike and Sandra Chipchase of Word-A-Live and the co-hosting pastors
of eight other regional fellowships. Worship is led by Pastors George
and Lilly Parker. Keynote speaker Dr. Bill Hamon is joined in the
teaching duties by Gale Sheehan, Leon Walters and Tim Hamon. Registration
is free but required at www.ciresourcecenter.com or at 1-800-388-5308,
x100.
• The Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin – Jim’s
covering authority – has prevailed in their appeal of the
judgment that would have resulted in the confiscation of all of
their property by the Episcopal Church. We have frequently asked
prayer for justice and mercy for all sides in this case and we thank
all of you for your prayers. The case will now be returned to a
new trial court and this time both sides will actually be heard.
Please re-double your prayers that all be blessed and transformed
by God.
• The current 40 Days for Life vigil has ended and the report
is that more than 3000 women have chosen life for their unborn babies
since this movement began in 2007. (Let us remember that this statistic
does not include the men and other children in their lives who are
impacted by their life decision.) In addition, a number of abortion
clinics have closed for lack of business and workers have accepted
Jesus and come out of their positions in the clinics. All of this
is achieved through loving engagement and prayer for blessing. With
God all things are indeed possible – beginning with the transformation
of me!
• The Voyage of the Dawn Treader – the latest installment
in the film version of C. S. Lewis’ Christian classic series
The Chronicles of Narnia – opens across the nation on Friday,
December 10. Go to narniafaith.com for information.
• OneThing Conference originates at the Kansas City Convention
Center and is available in our region as a free webcast for those
who want to join 20,000 young adults for prayer and worship –
and re-commitment – offered to Jesus Christ from December
28-31. Simply Google OneThing Conference, Kansas City to register
for the free webcast. There is no charge for on-site admission.
• Jesus Culture Encounter returns to Redding January 7-8,
2011, featuring Banning Liebscher, Russell Evans, Jake Hamilton,
Kristene DeMarco and the Jesus Culture Band. The event gathers a
capacity crowd at Redding’s Convention Center for two days
of worship and teaching about bringing the Gospel to peers. Go to
Jesusculture.com/encounter for registration and information.
• Regional Pastors’ Prayer Meeting for Governmental
Leaders and Issues holds monthly meetings in the state capitol on
the first Friday of each month from Noon to 1 PM. Call 916-319-2003
for information. The gatherings join a small host of ministries
meeting regularly to pray for the state, including PrayNorthState.
Regional Pastors Prayer is hosted by Assemblyman Dan Logue and facilitated
by Pastor John Lucas of Gloryland Revival Center.

experience in using those keys.

Anglican Church in Turlock, February 25-27 and at Eureka United
Methodist Church in Eureka March 4-6, 2011. Call us at 530-941-3470

we live in terms of the great outpouring of healing – all
kinds – that characterizes it. Addresses include For Such
a Time as This on Friday Night, with Saturday offering The Principles
of Healing; Breaking the Power Paradigm; The Miracle of Inner Healing;
and A Culture of Covenant. The teachings are based on Jim’s
book, The Holy Spirit and the EndTimes. Hands-on practical experience
is always included when Jim demonstrates transformative revival.
We were born for such a time as this; Jim shows participants how
to navigate the season with what the Lord has shown us at PrayNorthState.
Call us at 530-941-3470 for info.
• Everything we know about revival and transformation are
in the pages of The Holy Spirit and the End Times. All we have to
offer on reconciliation – the pre-requisite for transformation
– is found in Living as Ambassadors of Relationships. The
books sell for $16.00, but we offer the set for $25.00. Prices include
taxes; a $5.00 shipping charge is added to shipped orders.
