Jim is back from Fiji and New Zealand for a few days before heading to Scotland
with Diana and Elizabeth. Fiji featured more than two hundred healing miracles
and many decisions for Jesus alongside more than twelve hundred patients treated
by the medical team and construction begun on a pastor’s home and a ministry
center. We saw blind eyes opened and deaf ears unstopped in addition to limbs
re-shaped and much relief from joint and bone pain. We also saw more intense
spiritual warfare than ever before – but this gave rise to some of the
biggest miracles!
Due to political instability and personnel changes in Fiji we had limited facilities
and relational challenges to overcome – including building permits not
issued when we needed them. Then one of our workers was paralyzed from the neck
down after a fall landed him on his head. He was rushed to the hospital and
prayed over before being taken to X-ray. (Jim arrived within seconds of being
too late – God is good.) Within minutes he began moving arms and legs;
x-rays showed no evidence he had ever been injured!
Meetings with government officials resolved the relational issues and plans
were put in place to complete construction after our departure. A car breakdown
in New Zealand put Jim in just the right place to minister healing and encouragement
to many local leaders he would not otherwise have met. The best news is that
– after the healing miracles of last year – there are three new
congregations in Vatawaqa and Hindu priests are sending their sick to Pastor
Vinod for healing. Best of all – the local people are praying for each
other and seeing God heal – because they realize the Americans came to
release them to pray more than to pray for them. God is awesome!
CURRENT PrayNorthstate EVENTS
· Jim and Diana will offer Prophetic Acts With Impact conferences at
two locations while in Scotland – Christian Life Centre in Kirkwall (Orkney
Islands) on Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23; and St. Silas’ Anglican
Church in Glasgow on Friday and Saturday, June 29 and 30. Prophetic Acts participants
learn the concepts of warfare by honor and the basics of how to conduct Paah-ho-ammi
style projects in their communities, Bible Reading Marathons, and the ministry
of Prayer Vanguard. Perhaps most importantly, they learn that when God called
His people to cast and then walk out vision He meant it quite literally.
WHAT THE COORDINATORS ARE UP TO
· Jim preaches the third and final crusade in Vatawaqa (that’s
pronounced Vatawanga) on Friday, June 1, before ministering at Kinoya Assemblies
of God Church in Suva, Fiji, on Sunday, June 3. He heads home for a week before
he and Diana head for Scotland on June 10 – to be joined later by PNS
Exec. Asst. Elizabeth Peterson. The three journey to Culloden – the Scottish
Little Bighorn – for prayer and worship on June 20. Jim preaches at Christian
Life Centre in Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, on Sunday, June 24, and at St. Silas’
Anglican Church on Sunday, July 1. He and Diana will pray and network all over
Scotland before coming home on July 3 – for a few days of sleep!
