The miracles just keep coming! PrayNorthState
Radio has aired on AM 1400 KQMS in Redding since April 2001 and we have praised
God for the opportunity. In November 2006 the Lord told Jim to sow and press in
to the media and writing dimensions of the ministry because He was planning breakthrough
in these areas in 2007. In February the book – now titled Living As Ambassadors
of Relationship – was accepted for publication. In March we went on the
air on AM 1490 KBLF in Red Bluff and doubled our coverage area. And now on May
5 we will debut PrayNorthState Radio on FM 102.3 KNTK in Mt. Shasta – doubling
our coverage area once again. The Word of God – PrayNorthState style –
will be on at 9 AM on the new outlet and that means we are heard from Yreka to
Williams along the I-5 corridor. Other outlets appear to be opening in the near
future as well that will give our radio ministry a truly regional scope. God is
so good!
We prepare for the 5th Annual reading of the whole Bible over the city while
two new NorCal cities prepare their first read through – Yreka and Fortuna
– bringing the number of regional cities to do this in at a half dozen.
Paah-ho-ammi will launch on May 3 as an extension of the National Day of Prayer
into a season of prayer – and we can think of no better way to pave a
straight highway in the desert for the coming of our God and King.
But it is really all about Pentecost. The great harvest festival is celebrated
this year on Sunday, May 27. This is the focal point of the Great Commission
and Great Commandment. It is the purpose of anything we do in PrayNorthstate
and other ministries seeking transformation in our region and state. This is
where it becomes on earth as it is in Heaven. Praise God!
CURRENT PrayNorthstate EVENTS
· National Day of Prayer will be observed in Redding at Noon on Thursday,
May 3, in the City Hall Plaza at 777 Cypress Avenue. That evening we launch
the 3rd edition of Paah-ho-ammi at Simpson University in Mod Room 6. The evening
event will kick off daily prayer through August 6 for specific issues of public
safety, the economy and public health. We hope for a large turnout at both events
and those who attend the latter will be assigned to one of three prayer teams
committed to daily prayer in any location for the assigned topics. A close-out
service on August 8 will announce the fruit of the prayers.
· A Night to Honor Israel will be held at 7 PM on Monday, May 14, at
Little Country Church. The event is co-sponsored by A Night to Honor Israel,
Little Country Church, and PrayNorthState. There is no charge for attending
and speakers include Rosemary Schindler (grand-daughter of Oscar Schindler)
and Jim. The event will praise God, honor His firstborn people, and raise funds
for public works projects in an Israel devastated by war and terror attacks.
The event comes on the 59th anniversary of Israeli independence.
WHAT THE COORDINATORS ARE UP TO
· Jim preaches at Jyoti Good News Assembly of God in Auckland, New Zealand,
on Sunday, May 20. Midweek meetings are planned as well. He returns to Bethany
Assembly in Suva, Fiji, on Sunday, May 27, Tuesday, May 29, and at a TBA church
on June 3. Jim will preach three evangelistic meetings in Vatawaqa on May 30-June
1 in the evenings.
· Diana will remain in California to coordinate prayer cover for the
entire mission – we attribute the many miracles we have seen the past
two years to God’s response to the round-the-clock prayer of our core
group of intercessors. (We ask prayer from our entire network.) This includes
at least one instance in which Jim’s life was at serious risk in 2006.

UPCOMING PrayNorthstate EVENTS
· Jim and Diana make their third mission trip to Scotland on June 10.
They will lead Prophetic Acts With Impact conferences in the Orkney Islands
(June 22-3) and in Glasgow (June 29-30). They lead a team to the Culloden battlefield
to pray and facilitate reconciliation between ancient enemies as well as going
to various strategic sites for focused intercession. The conference offers training
in the conduct of prophetic activities with demonstrable impact on communities
such as Paah-ho-ammi and Prayer Vanguard. Elizabeth Peterson, PrayNorthState
exec. assistant, will spend ten days with Jim and Diana in Scotland –
a land in which she and husband, Chriss, ministered for several years as YWAM
missionaries. Jim will preach in various churches on the Sundays of the journey.

upcoming events should go to the PrayNorthstate web site at www.praynorthstate.org
