Dear People of the Northstate Vision:

There are several items I want to call to your attention for prayer at this time, but first I want to share with you some of the praises we can give to God on the spot! First is the fact that our fourth annual Bible Reading Marathon went more smoothly this year than ever before – and this despite the fact that we had more loose ends going in than I have ever seen in years prior. There were fewer missed reading assignments and we had a travel trailer instead of porta potties for reader use in the evenings. We also had greater than ever favor with media – three segments broadcast on KRCR TV 7, a segment on Northern California News Channel 12, an interview on Radio KQMS and photos in the Record-Searchlight. In addition we know that similar events took place in Roseville and in Washington, DC, and others are in planning stages. Praise God and ask for even greater favor next time – especially with more churches becoming corporately involved.

Paah-ho-ammi is completed for the second time and we do not yet have complete statistics in all categories, but what we have is incredible. Traffic fatalities in Shasta County were reduced by 40% and cancer admissions are down by a whopping 58%! Youth deaths were cut in half and unemployment is dropping again. Thank God and ask Him to cast vision in other locations in the region and state for their own Paah-ho-ammi.

I have just returned from my trip to Montana for prayer at the site of the Little Bighorn Battle. We made contact and received the blessing of Native American leaders to pray on the battle site – which sits on reservation lands. We witnessed the release of many prophetic signs and expect that God is up to some good stuff in the full reconciliation of the peoples involved in that war which is so formative for American history and culture. Bless God for what He is doing with two peoples that He loves and ask Him to go for it!

The news media announced that a large tsunami was headed toward Fiji by way of New Zealand on the day before we left for Montana. People around the world prayed that the hand of nature would be stayed and the tsunami simply dropped off of the screens of the tracking devices. Exalt God on this one – and pray for more public nature miracles.

Speaking of Fiji, I want to move to the prayer requests. Although the grant for building materials and medical supplies has come in, and team member Linda Kay’s migraines were healed, we are still short two doctors, Linda Kay has other medical difficulties and much of the funding for the travel itself. Please pray for a full healing of Linda Kay Russell, the recruiting of two American doctors and two local Fijian doctors to join the team, and for the rest of the funding Diana and I (and others) need to make the trip. Please pray also for even greater favor with and for Fijian government officials as they wrestle with some very difficult and volatile political and social issues prior to the general elections in August. God’s hand is on this land and He’s called us all to partner.

For some time we have been praying for transformation in the UK – and that the revival would roll down from the Scottish Highlands as God has promised. The British Parliament is debating an assisted suicide bill as we write. Please pray in general for the promised revival and in focus that God would move for life culture in the Parliament.

There are also critical issues being debated in the California Legislature. (Some appear to be resolved – and not in a good way – but God always has the last word.) Please pray for a revival of Assemblyman Doug LaMalfa’s bill to ban the use of eminent domain to take private property for the use of other private parties or uses. Please pray for the marriage-between-one-man-and-one-woman ballot initiative, a culture-of-life resolution of the gay lifestyle promoting curriculum bill as it goes from the senate to the assembly, and a revived parental notification initiative. Please pray for the upcoming primaries, and for a civil attitude and a hunger for God in the legislature. Pray for the governor.

Please continue to pray the prayer topics of Paah-ho-ammi – especially if you live in Shasta County. The areas seemingly least touched during the quarter of PHA prayer were crime and suicide – although we do not yet have our crime stats – and we do know of great law enforcement victories. Please pray for a major league reduction in crime and suicide and the introduction of a culture of life in a state and region that is a national leader in addiction, domestic violence, suicide, and now we face a sharp upswing in murder. Please pray and remember the other PHA issues: unemployment and the economy, traffic fatalities, cancer, and youth death. Pray as though we had not yet seen the miracles God has already provided and praise Him as though all were accomplished.

Please pray for our projected travel to Scotland and the Philippines – and don’t forget Fiji. As I mentioned in the May newsletter, about a third of the funds we need have already been promised or provided, but we need the balance – about $10,000.00 – ASAP. Please pray also that the arrangements for exactly where we are to be and what we to do in Scotland and the Philippines will coalesce quickly. Above all pray that we will be a blessing and be sowing transformation and revival in all of these places.

Please pray God’s blessings on the retreats for which we are scheduled in the region in June, October and November; for those regional events that are in various stages of planning for October and November, and for my June trip to Washington State to sow into the revival that is beginning there. Please pray also for the continuing development of the Genesis Generation TV series and for favor with publishers for my recently completed book on reconciliation titled If My People.

In the meantime may God bless all of you and fill you with His joy and His peace.

In Christ,

Jim Wilson, PrayNorthstate
